KONO Nutrition is a “health first” supplement brand founded by Alex Conley, a childhood leukemia survivor who later worked at GNC, got disillusioned with typical sports nutrition, and spent about a decade formulating his own products. The company frames itself against Big Fitness more than Big Pharma: it argues most supplements are candy with a pump, loaded with gums, fillers, fake flavors, “natural” flavors, and artificial sweeteners that look like fitness but undermine health.
